Quick checks
- Open System Settings -> Bluetooth and confirm the Bose QC Ultra is connected.
- Play audio from the Mac to confirm the output device works.
- Keep the headphones or earbuds awake and near the Mac.
- Quit and reopen ANCBuddy.
- Disconnect and reconnect the device in macOS Bluetooth settings if mode switching still fails.
